Glenys presented to a special seminar for women with SunSuper

Last week Glenys spoke at a special seminar for women members of SunSuper.

The ladies who attended Glenys’ presentation were very engaged and moved by Glenys’ personal stories. There were quite a few questions about trauma cover – something that they can’t get via their super fund, and yet such an important cover to have. This is because it can pay a lump sum such as a home loan or medical costs that may be incurred if you have a Critical Illness, like breast cancer.

Many people don’t realise that income protection can only cover up to 75% of their regular income. And so trauma cover can help pay for those `out of pocket’ expenses that are so important during a major illness.

Glenys also gave some great tips on how to grow your Super towards retirement, as women are often on the back foot because of child – rearing, divorce and gaps in working etc.

Wealth On Track are one of only two businesses in Adelaide that have been put on SunSuper’s ‘panel’ of accredited advisers. This stemmed from us being a Professional Practice with the Financial Planning Association.

It was a busy week as we also went out to visit a fantastic Australian company, Codan, at their modern head office at Adelaide Technology Park at Mawson Lakes. We did that visit with Sean Byrne, SunSuper’s corporate super representative. Many thanks to Evan and Sean!
